Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Grated Parmesan (for serving)
Method

Heat the olive oil and fry the onion until soft, then add the garlic for 1 minute.

Add the ground beef and brown well, breaking it up as it cooks.

Stir in the tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.

Simmer uncovered for 25-30 minutes until thick and rich.

Cook the spaghetti until al dente, drain and serve topped with the ragu and Parmesan.
